This sentence stands for the description of our goals:

We merged the best partners, the best researchers, the best national research institutions, the best Slovene internationally recognized companies to create better, more stimulating environment for Primorska. We were able to bring together natural and social sciences to work hand in hand for better future. We are open for new partnerships and new research challenges.

Centre of Excellence for Biosensors, Instrumentation and Process Control, fully operates since 2010. It is a private found research institution and works in the most challenging and promising fields, such as bio-chemistry, bio-instrumentation, optics, new materials and advanced purification processes in pharmacy.

The focus of the Centre is creating cutting-edge research solutions and establish new research and business partnerships. This focus results in a broad, world-wide network.

We are excellent research partners, with track record of wide range of research and project management experience. Research equipment, financed through public projects can be used by other users for free, when not used by our employees.

In the following years COBIK plans to establish several new companies – we are open for complementary partnerships.

Researchers are organized in five laboratories, located in Ajdovščina, Ljubljana and Solkan.
